2005-2006 Skate City/SIHA Club Team Information/Registration

  • Club team hockey is an extension of Skate City’s/SIHA’s recreational leagues. 
  • The program is designed to allow Skate City roller hockey players the opportunity  to compete against other roller skating rinks from around Colorado.  
  • The club team program also gives players a one hour practice a week to work on fundamental hockey skills and game type situation drills.
  • All tournament games are played in the Tour Inline Hockey Arena in Colorado Springs.  
  • In each age division there will be either two or three divisions - Gold, Silver, or Bronze.  
  • This will allow players to play with other players and against other players of close or similar ability.

Eligibility
All Skate City players are encouraged to join (no child will be cut and everyone will play)

All players must play in two Skate City leagues per year to play for their club team

Must be a current SIHA Member

Club Dues
$30.00 per player (Payable to your club) Attach to registration form

Tournament Entry Fees
$40.00 per player for each tournament (Paid at the tournament)
3 games minimum per tournament

Team Uniform
Club Jerseys - new jersey information and order forms are at your rink
All new player numbers must be approved by club director
All players must have team pants  Purchase pants at your rink

Sportsmanship Agreement
Parents must sign an agreement at first tournament attended for this year

Required Equipment
Gloves, Shin Guards, (HECC) Certified Helmet with full face cage, elbow pads, stick, skates, mouth piece, protective cup (males), team pants and jersey
Goalie Equipment.  (Must have own equipment)
Optional Equipment - Shoulder pads and girdle

Coaching
SIHA and club directors will select all coaches
All coaches will be nationally certified
All Gold division coaches will run same team system as the SIHA Stallions
